On 10-13 January 2009 we participated in the 9^th International Trade Fair for Industrial Machinery, Metalworking and Machine Tools in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). A total of 238 exhibitors from 21 countries presented their products at the trade fair. Europe was heavily represented by Germany and Italy. Our factory, Válcovny trub Chomutov, was the lone Czech representative. China had a large contingent at the fair.

Visitors to our booth received an introduction to both our Válcovny trub Chomutov factory and the other manufacturing facilities (Železárny Hrádek, Železárny Chomutov and Železárny Veselí) in the Z-GROUP / Steel Holding. Our new holding catalogue with our comprehensive line of products was offered to guests.

Important customers from the Arabian Peninsula and other locations such as India accepted invitations to our booth. Numerous new contacts were made during the event and these subjects will be addressed in the future with specific offers.

In addition to looking for and obtaining new contacts we also participated in a number of discussions and seminars in order to acquire information concerning trends on the global steel market and in individual countries.

Our presence at the trade fair helped us solidify our business relationships on the Arabian Peninsula and to strengthen the image of the company.
